Harmony House stocks Korg's dedicated Oriental arranger keyboards in Dubai, built for Middle Eastern, Arabic, Persian and Turkish music. Both models add sounds, drum and percussion kits, keyboard sets, pads and styles from those traditions on top of Korg's standard arranger library, along with quarter-tone scale control for maqam-based playing.

Both the Korg PA700-OR and PA5X OR-76 are available to try at our Al Quoz showroom in Dubai, with delivery across the UAE.

What the Oriental editions add

  • Extra sounds, drum and percussion kits and styles covering Türkiye, Persia and especially Arabic countries
  • Quarter-tone scale control for authentic microtonal maqam performance, with scale presets you can recall during a performance
  • The full feature set of the matching standard Korg arranger underneath

Choosing between the PA700-OR and PA5X OR-76

The Korg PA700-OR is a 61-key arranger on Korg's EDS-X engine with 1,700+ factory sounds, 370+ styles and a physical quarter-tone SubScale keypad with 4 scale presets. Oriental keyboard questions, answered

What does 'Oriental' mean on a Korg keyboard?

It is a regional edition of Korg's Pa-series arrangers. The Oriental versions add sounds, drum and percussion kits, keyboard sets, pads and styles covering the traditions of Türkiye and Persia, with particular focus on Arabic countries.

What is quarter-tone control used for?

Arabic and Turkish maqam music uses pitches that fall between the notes of a standard Western scale. On the PA700-OR you can set those scales from a physical SubScale keypad, and on the PA5X OR-76 through on-screen controls, so you can play those in-between pitches live.

Can I try these keyboards before buying?

Yes. Visit our showroom at Goshi Warehouse City, No. 61, Al Quoz Industrial Area 3, Dubai to try the PA700-OR and PA5X OR-76 in person, or order online for delivery across the UAE.
