DiMarzio DP708BK Crunch Lab 7 John Petrucci Bridge Pickup | Black

The DiMarzio DP708BK Crunch Lab 7 John Petrucci Signature Bridge Humbucker Guitar Pickup is one of the most celebrated 7-string pickups ever developed, born from a direct creative collaboration between DiMarzio and Dream Theater guitarist John Petrucci. Used extensively throughout Dream Theater's tenth studio album Black Clouds & Silver Linings, the Crunch Lab 7 represents John's own description of his best-ever live and studio sound. The name captures its character perfectly — crunch is the defining quality, with a big, tight response that avoids both muddiness and thinness even under the most demanding progressive metal playing conditions. A ceramic magnet delivers the high output and aggressive clarity the bridge position demands, while 4-conductor wiring enables versatile switching options including parallel humbucking and split-coil modes. Recommended exclusively for the bridge position, the DP708BK is a defining tool for serious 7-string players. A landmark signature guitar pickup for players in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and across the UAE.
