Ibanez GRGM21-BKN Mikro Short-Scale Electric Guitar | Black Night

The Ibanez GRGM21-BKN is the GRG Mikro — a short-scale electric guitar from the GIO GRGM Series that delivers genuine Ibanez quality and performance in a compact and player-friendly format. Finished in a sleek Black Night, this guitar is designed for young rockers discovering their sound for the first time, as well as seasoned players seeking a highly portable and capable travel or practice instrument.
The defining feature of the GRGM21-BKN is its 22.2-inch short scale length, which makes the guitar significantly easier to handle for players with smaller hands or shorter reach — a quality that is especially valued by parents across the UAE searching for a first electric guitar that a child can actually play comfortably without compromise. The Poplar body delivers well-balanced tone with impressive thickness, while the GRGM Maple bolt-on neck provides brightness and stable playing feel across all 24 Medium frets. The Jatoba fretboard contributes a rich midrange and crisp high end, with White Sharktooth inlays adding a bold visual character that makes this Mikro look as serious as it sounds. Ibanez Infinity R humbuckers at both neck and bridge deliver accurate, tight output with excellent dynamics under all gain levels, and the F106 Fixed bridge ensures reliable sustain and easy individual string height adjustment. Despite its compact dimensions, the GRGM21-BKN plays and sounds like a real Ibanez electric guitar — because it is one.
