Ibanez MDB5-OXB 4-String Passive Bass Guitar | Oxblood Weathered Black

The Ibanez MDB5-OXB is a professionally crafted 4-string passive bass guitar built to the exact specifications of Mike D'Antonio, the renowned bassist of Killswitch Engage, and part of the exclusive MDB signature series. Designed for players who demand reliability, aggression, and tonal precision, this bass combines a lightweight okoume body with a 3-piece Maple bolt-on neck and a rosewood fretboard featuring luminescent side dot inlays — providing excellent visibility and smooth playability across all 22 medium frets. The heart of this instrument lies in its Seymour Duncan PJ pickup configuration, pairing the SPB-1 precision split-coil at the neck with the SJB-2 jazz single-coil at the bridge. This classic combination delivers warm, punchy low-end from the neck position and bright, cutting definition from the bridge, with a balancer control allowing players to blend between both pickups for a wide range of tonal possibilities. The fixed Accu-cast B200 bridge ensures rock-solid string stability and maximum vibration transfer to the body, while Gotoh GB7 die-cast machine heads provide precise and dependable tuning throughout the most demanding live performances. Finished in a striking Oxblood Weathered Black with cosmo black hardware, the MDB5-OXB is a bold and purposeful instrument available now across the UAE for players who take their bass tone seriously.
