Ibanez MGFM10-OBL Electric Guitar | Obsidian Black

The Ibanez MGFM10-OBL is a premium signature electric guitar developed in close collaboration with Manuel Gardner Fernandes — the German guitarist who began playing at the age of three and has grown into one of the most exciting and distinctive voices in contemporary guitar, celebrated globally for his percussive dead-note style and hard strumming technique that draws equally from metal, fusion, jazz, soul, and funk. Known for his extraordinary Instagram following and his work as composer and guitarist for progressive metal band Unprocessed, Manuel's approach to the guitar demanded an instrument as versatile and technically refined as his playing — and the MGFM Series delivers exactly that.
Built in Indonesia to Ibanez Premium standards, the MGFM10-OBL combines a Quilted Maple top over an Okoume body for a bright and solid tonal foundation with enriched picking response, paired with the exclusive Parallel Wizard 3-piece Roasted Maple/Bubinga bolt-on neck — a neck that maintains a consistent 19mm thickness along its full length for an exceptional fretting hand experience at higher playing positions. The Roasted Birdseye Maple fretboard with Mother of Pearl Step Offset Dot inlays delivers balanced attack and rich sustain across 24 Jumbo Stainless Steel frets, while luminescent side dots ensure visibility on dark stages. The Q58 HH pickups deliver precisely defined tonal balance with powerful lows and clear highs that work equally well with digital and analog effects, further expanded by the dynaMIX10 switching system with Alter Switch for ten distinct sound variations including a realistic single coil Power Tap mode. The MonoTune fixed bridge and Custom String Lock complete a build that is as practical as it is sonically exceptional. For players across the UAE seeking a world-class Premium signature instrument built for modern progressive performance, the MGFM10-OBL is an outstanding and purpose-built choice.
