The guitar is constructed around a solid Basswood body, prized for its natural, balanced tonal response, paired with a bolt-on Super Wizard neck built from 5-piece Maple and Walnut. This neck profile is purpose-engineered for speed and smooth playability, offering a fast and comfortable feel throughout the entire fretboard range. The Bound Rosewood fretboard carries the instantly recognizable White Sharktooth inlays alongside 24 Jumbo frets, delivering a focused midrange character and effortless articulation on single notes and chords alike.
The legendary Ibanez Edge tremolo bridge anchors the hardware, providing exceptional tuning stability and precise intonation control that has set the industry benchmark for decades. Gotoh machine heads complement the setup with superior tuning accuracy and a smooth, reliable feel. The Infinity R humbucker at the neck and V8 humbucker at the bridge deliver tight, dynamic output that retains full tonal clarity regardless of gain level. Black hardware throughout creates a sharp, dramatic contrast that perfectly suits the Vampire Kiss finish of this ibanez rg565r series reissue.
