About This Product
The Ibanez V44CE-WK from the V Series combines reliable quality with an affordable design, making it a suitable choice for beginning students. Its Meranti top, back, and sides provide a warm and balanced tonal character, while the Meranti neck offers a stable foundation for comfortable playing. The Nandu Wood fretboard adds a rich and warm tone, complementing the acoustic character of the instrument.
For amplified performance, the V44CE-WK features an Ibanez Undersaddle Pickup that accurately reproduces the guitar’s acoustic nature, paired with an AEQ-2T preamp with onboard tuner. The preamp provides dedicated bass and treble controls and allows the built-in tuner to operate without the guitar being plugged in. A Nandu Wood bridge transfers string vibration directly to the body for a natural, warm tone, while Ibanez Advantage™ bridge pins make string changes easier and help keep the pins and strings securely in place. The guitar is finished in Weathered Black Open Pore.
