Korg PADKONTROL | USB MIDI Pad Controller | 16 Trigger Pads

The Korg padKONTROL is a dedicated USB MIDI pad controller designed for drummers, producers, and live performers who demand expressive, hands-on control over software instruments and hardware MIDI sound modules. At the center of its design are sixteen velocity-sensitive trigger pads, each individually configurable to transmit note messages or control change messages, with eight selectable velocity curves, fixed velocity mode, and toggle or momentary switching behavior. Three distinctive LED illumination modes add a visual dimension to live performance that sets the padKONTROL apart from standard pad controllers.
The signature X-Y pad — refined through Korg's experience with the KAOSS series — brings an additional layer of expressive control, enabling realistic flam and roll techniques directly from the pad surface. Two assignable knobs and an assignable pedal jack extend the control surface further, accommodating kick drum triggering, DAW transport commands, and a wide range of MIDI control change assignments. Sixteen user scene memories allow instant switching between custom configurations mid-performance, while thirty factory-preloaded scenes provide immediate compatibility with popular drum software for producers across the UAE. USB bus-powered operation means the padKONTROL requires no external power supply when connected to a computer, and its built-in USB-to-MIDI interface adds connectivity for traditional MIDI gear within any modern production setup.
