Kawai KDP120 vs KDP75: Which Digital Piano Should You Buy?

Two of Kawai's most popular home pianos, one clear price gap. Here's exactly what that gap buys you.

The KDP75 and KDP120 sit right next to each other in Kawai's home piano range, sharing the same cabinet size, the same 88-key layout, and the same core piano sound. So what actually separates a 4,499 AED piano from a 5,699 AED one? Three things: the key action, the speaker power, and Bluetooth. Here's exactly what changes.

Choose the KDP75 if...

You're buying a first piano for lessons or daily practice
Budget matters more than extra polish
You don't need to stream from a phone or tablet
You want the same core SK-EX grand sound for less

Choose the KDP120 if...

You want a touch closer to an acoustic piano (triple sensor action)
You'll fill a larger room or play without headphones often
You want Bluetooth for apps, backing tracks, or silent-piano style practice
You're buying for a player who's likely to stick with piano long-term

Our honest recommendation

If this is a first piano and budget is the deciding factor, the KDP75 is not a compromise — it uses the same SK-EX sampled grand sound as the 120. Step up to the KDP120 specifically for the triple-sensor action and the extra speaker power, both of which matter more as a player's technique develops.
