The roasted maple Ergo-V neck offers a comfortable and smooth playing feel across the entire fretboard, while the roasted maple fingerboard features 22 Medium-Jumbo nickel-silver frets and a 12"-15.75" compound radius. This compound radius makes it easier to transition from comfortable chord playing in the lower register to fast soloing and string bending in the higher register. The Cort Staggered Locking Tuners provide excellent tuning stability and facilitate quick string changes, while the Graph Tech Black TUSQ nut is designed to improve string-energy transfer for enhanced harmonics, volume, and sustain.
The Cort Voiced Tone VTH77 HH pickup set delivers articulate and full-bodied tones with modern high output while also cleaning up effectively for classic rock and blues sounds. Its custom-wired 5-way Super Switch provides a wide range of tones, including sparkling single-coil sounds in positions 2 and 4 and powerful humbucker tones in the bridge, middle, and neck positions. The Cort CFA-III Tremolo adds further expressive flexibility, while the luminous side dots improve fretboard visibility on dark stages. With its roasted maple construction, versatile VTH77 pickups, compound-radius fretboard, locking tuners, and eye-catching Bright Blue Burst finish, the Cort G290FAT II-BBB delivers an impressive combination of modern performance, tonal versatility, and refined build quality.
