The G290 FAT II builds on the highly regarded G290 FAT platform with important upgrades including a roasted maple neck and fretboard, Graph Tech Black TUSQ nut, Luminlay side dots, and the striking Bright Blue Burst finish. Its Alder body with a Flamed Maple veneer provides a balanced tonal foundation with bright, transparent highs and strongly projected low-midrange.

The roasted maple Ergo-V neck offers a comfortable and smooth playing feel across the entire fretboard, while the roasted maple fingerboard features 22 Medium-Jumbo nickel-silver frets and a 12"-15.75" compound radius. This compound radius makes it easier to transition from comfortable chord playing in the lower register to fast soloing and string bending in the higher register. The Cort Staggered Locking Tuners provide excellent tuning stability and facilitate quick string changes, while the Graph Tech Black TUSQ nut is designed to improve string-energy transfer for enhanced harmonics, volume, and sustain.
