The Cort Gold-A8 is a premium acoustic-electric guitar from Cort’s Gold Series, designed with a total focus on sound and craftsmanship. Its Grand Auditorium body combines a Torrefied Solid Sitka Spruce top with Solid Pau Ferro back and sides, producing a big, open tone that is bright yet natural, with a strong and warm midrange. The Aged to Vintage (ATV) treatment torrefies the Sitka Spruce top to provide the open tonal character associated with a well-aged vintage instrument from the first day of playing. The Natural Gloss finish is complemented by Cort’s sonically enhanced UV finish.

The Walnut-reinforced Mahogany neck features Cort’s Comfort C Shape and is paired with an Ebony fingerboard with 20 frets and Gold Custom Inlays. The Auditorium body with Venetian cutaway provides a versatile platform for both strumming and fingerstyle playing, while the hand-scalloped X-bracing supports the guitar’s acoustic response. An Ebony bridge with Ebony bridge pins, Genuine Bone nut and saddle, and Deluxe Vintage Gold tuning machines complete the premium construction.

For amplified performance, the Fishman Flex Blend System provides a wide range of sonic control together with a built-in tuner. The system includes Volume, Tone, Phase, Blend, and Tuner functions, allowing players to shape the amplified sound for different playing techniques while maintaining a natural acoustic character.
