The Cort Gold-D8 is a premium acoustic guitar from Cort’s Gold Series, designed with a total focus on sound and craftsmanship. Its Dreadnought body combines a Torrefied Solid Sitka Spruce top with Solid Pau Ferro back and sides, producing a big, open tone that is bright yet natural, with a strong and warm midrange. Cort’s Aged to Vintage (ATV) treatment torrefies the Sitka Spruce top to deliver the open tonal character associated with a vintage acoustic guitar from the first day of playing. The Light Burst finish provides a distinctive alternative to the Natural Gloss option, while the sonically enhanced UV finish protects the instrument and tonal quality.

The Walnut-reinforced Mahogany neck features Cort’s Comfort C Shape and is paired with an Ebony fingerboard with 20 frets and Gold Custom Inlays. The 15.75-inch (R400) fingerboard radius, Genuine Bone nut and saddle, Ebony bridge with Ebony bridge pins, and Deluxe Vintage Gold tuning machines complete the premium construction. The hand-scalloped X-bracing supports the guitar’s acoustic response, while the Dreadnought body provides the full and open character associated with the Gold-D8.
