The Cort Gold-OC6 Bocote is a premium acoustic-electric guitar from Cort's Gold Series, featuring a classic OM Cutaway body and an exotic Solid Bocote back and sides. Bocote is known for its distinctive yellow, orange, and dark brown grain patterns with prominent black lines, while its warm and deep tonal character complements the Torrefied Solid Sitka Spruce top. The combination produces a balanced sound with a clear high end, warm and rich midrange, and deep but tight low end. The Natural Gloss finish highlights the natural beauty of the Bocote.
The OM Cutaway body provides a compact yet sonically responsive design, delivering a sound larger than its size suggests with excellent dynamic response. The Walnut-reinforced Mahogany neck features Cort's Comfort C shape and is paired with a Macassar Ebony fingerboard, offering a deep and lush tonal character with transparent highs. The fingerboard features Gold Custom Inlays, 20 frets with hand-rolled edge treatment, and a 15.75-inch (R400) radius.
