The Cort Gold-OC8 Nylon is the first classical guitar in Cort’s Gold Series, combining premium tonewoods, advanced technology, and detailed craftsmanship with Cort’s modern approach to the classical guitar. It features a Torrefied Solid Engelmann Spruce top paired with Solid Pau Ferro back and sides, producing a rich and full midrange with a clear, smooth top-end response. The classic OM Cutaway body offers a compact and comfortable design with strong dynamic responsiveness, while the Natural Gloss finish highlights the refined appearance of the instrument.

The Walnut-reinforced Mahogany neck is designed for enhanced rigidity and stability and features Cort’s Comfort C Shape for comfortable playability. The Ebony fingerboard has a flat radius and 20 frets, with Cort’s hand-rolled fret edge treatment providing smooth and comfortable fret ends. The guitar also features an Ebony bridge, Genuine Bone nut and saddle, classical-style tuning machines with black knobs, and Savarez Cristal Corum nylon strings. The Fan Bracing and Dovetail Neck Joint at the 14th fret complete the carefully designed acoustic construction.

For amplified performance, the Fishman Flex Blend System provides Volume, Tone, Phase, Blend, and Tuner functions, giving players flexible control over their amplified sound while maintaining a natural acoustic character. Cort’s Sonically Enhanced UV Finish is designed to allow the wood to vibrate more freely, while the Torrefied Solid Engelmann Spruce top provides the tonal qualities associated with an aged instrument.
